UNOPPOSED MOTION TO CONTINUE HEARING ON VIOLATION OF SUPERVISED RELEASE AND INCORPORATED MEMORANDUM OF SUPPORTING POINTS
xxxxxxxx, through undersigned counsel, respectfully requests that this Honorable Court continue his hearing on violation of his supervised release scheduled for April 20, 1998, until April 29, 1998, or to a date mutually satisfactory to the court and opposing counsel. In support of his request, Mr. xxxxxxx, through undersigned counsel states:
1. Mr. xxxxxxx is currently scheduled for a hearing on April 20, 1998.
. 2. Undersigned counsel is scheduled at this time to begin a trial on another matter on April 20, 1998.
3. Undersigned counsel will also be out of town for three days, from April 15th to April 17, 1998.
4. Undersigned counsel requires time to investigate and prepare for Mr. xxxxxxx's hearing.
5. Undersigned counsel spoke with the Assistant United States Attorney to whom this case is assigned, Eumi Choi about her need for a continuance and she indicated that the government would not oppose the continuance.
WHEREFORE, for all the foregoing reasons, and for any other reasons this Court may deem just and proper, Anthony xxxxxxx, through undersigned counsel, respectfully requests that this Court grant him a continuation of his hearing for violation of his supervised release.
